“Stephens County Jail Ups Security with Body Scanner Tech”
The Stephens County Jail in Georgia is bolstering its security procedures by implementing new body scanner technology. Designed to detect contraband, the tech was put into operation on April 1. Sheriff Randy Shirley emphasized the need for the system, citing the ongoing battle against the smuggling of drugs and weapons into the facility.
